Our new Miss Pageland 2012 Emily Moody and Miss Pageland Teen 2012 Kerri Gardner, joined Councilman Joe Clontz, (left), and Mayor Brian Hough last Saturday to prune shrubbery at Moore's Park and behind the Town Hall. Clontz and Hough also pruned Crepe Myrtles on Friday along McGregor Street.
Councilman Johnny Knight and his wife, Sheila, helped Saturday by pruning the Crepe Myrtle trees in the downtown, especially on Pearl Street. Others picked up litter and painted around town. A number of citizens cleaned up their own property and the Town's Public Works Dept. hauled away their refuse.
Everyone who participated in some way to make Pageland a cleaner, brighter place is appreciated. Keep up the good work every day! Be proud of Pageland and keep it clean!
